What an amazing throwback! OutKast does a decent job with the lyrics, and makes sure the beat is perfect to my liking! I don’t have much to say about this song, though. It deserved to reach number one on the billboard charts, and was overplayed, as usual, with a lot of number 1 hit singles. One small problem setting it back from the top 10 (or above a 9) is that it is still overplayed as of now, mainly on channels such as 104.1, but still, it’s not THAT bad. We can still all agree though, that Hey Ya! was one of the biggest throwbacks in the 2000s, mainly one of the better ones!
