Welcome back to the forest of legends, everyone! Today we will explore what it was like when there was instead of a pharmacy – a drug store! Now, this will be the last part of our tour that we will take, since I couldn’t get much pictures of the Flynn mansion – I was too busy looking at everything the mansion had to offer! I will make it up to you though, and I will say that there were many rooms, and it’s one of the places I saw that actually looked livable in today’s society! Although I bet the cost would be expensive! The Flynn Mansion was also built by the Flynn’s, and is actually a real building! Bet it costed a lot for them!
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this final stop on our tour of Walnut Hill, Iowa! See you soon, on The Forest of Legends.
The Drug Store

This Drug Store is noticeably different from modern pharmacies today! It has this old-fashioned counter with many drugs, “potions”, and remedies of all kinds, which today would normally come in an clear-orange tube with a white-colored cap. Not to mention the fancy shelving and how you can see everything on display. That I find pretty useful when your looking at what you want or what could help you cure a remedy of yours or a loved ones.
Lots of things could be found in drug stores, including this one, which are listed below:
- Herbs and spices like aloe vera
- Wines
- Heroin, which was recently developed at the time and was becoming more popular.
- Soothing Baby Syrup, which worked on crying babies, although made them opioid addicts.
- Pain Medications
- Vaccines, although very rare, since were only just starting to develop at the time, and were almost always in high-class hospitals or labs.
- And more!
